A Gateway is a method of routing outgoing calls via VoIP, on any PBX. Using BitCo’s VoIP Gateway, all your outgoing calls can easily be routed to BitCo Voice without changing your current PBX system.
This means that if you already have a PBX system set up in your office that relies on existing (analogue, ISDN, BRI/PRI) lines for your outgoing calls and is too costly to replace at this stage for your business, a gateway would be an ideal solution for you.

The gateway is a server which intercepts outgoing calls on your existing system. It literally listens for outgoing calls and sends them to our BitCo VoIP network instead of over the existing PSTN Lines. At our hosting facility the call will be terminated via the most cost effective route (least cost routing).
The great aspect of the gateway is that should you ever experience down time for whatsoever reason, the calls will fail over back onto the existing lines meaning you can always make a call.
